Been a while since I've blogged, sorry I have been busy with a major PhatCMS update!
As well as some bug fixes, we have worked in quite a few changes based on usability and feedback from our clients and user base. Some of the new features include:
- Google Style Search Paging
- Anti Spam Send To Friend Module
- Content Existance Check/Redirect for invalid or old content links.
- Major CSS updates to allow even more control over the system forms and content.
- Improved PhatCart Stock Control System.
- Paging on larger admin listing pages
However the thing we are most excited about is the performance tuning we have completed. Some administration pages are up to 800% quicker than they were with version 2.0, and the site generally runs 50% quicker in the front end. 2.1 also uses much less server resources than the last version of PhatCMS, which means that all our clients benifit from the latest changes.
All sites have been updated to the latest version, so we hope our clients and their users enjoy the new features and the glorious speed of PhatCMS!
