After working on a solution to be able to provide a single map for a site, we
sent out this newsletter about the offering to our clients. A couple of clients took us up on the offer, we can still provide this service to anybody.
We then had a client request the ability to add many maps as they needed to on their PhatCMS site. The client is in the property market and they implemented our maps on their
hot spots page and so far they are using an MSN map and a Google map to show different locations. Because the maps offer different resolution images across the two platforms we figured why not give customers the choice.
The latest implementation
shows a sattelite view of various places where mineral sands will be mined in Bangladesh. Google and MSN maps are great examples of what can be done when you push the boundaries of Javascript and the
DOM or Document Object Model.
