Custom Web Solutions is a small business, and like other small businesses we realise that a large spend on anything is difficult for small businesses. That is why we are implementing a plan to allow customers to pay for their website much like a mobile phone or a hire purchase.
Instead of a high up front cost of thousands to build and deploy your website, you pay a monthly fee over a set contract period for the site and hosting. At the end of the contract period you own the website. You have the option of continuing to host with us or moving the site to another provider.

PhatCMS Base System
Designed and built based on an existing template and customised to your organisations colours and corporate image. PhatCMS allows easy management of your websites content and is designed for small to medium businesses. The base system price also includes our Business Hosting plan with SQL valued at over $40 per month. See table below.
Plug in Modules (excluding e-commerce)
All modules except for e-commerce are available for an additional $10-$20 per module per month. See the table below for pricing of each individual module.
PhatCMS Maintenance
For just $10 per month, be kept up to date with the latest version of PhatCMS. We’re enhancing current features and adding new ones all the time based on feedback and requirements of our real world customers. This plan is also available to existing customers and those who purchase an up front build at standard pricing.
PhatCart e-commerce plugin
Our fully featured PhatCart system which allows you to sell products and event registrations online. This includes a unique IP address to allow SSL security for online transactions and PhatCart configured to your needs and fully integrated with your PhatCMS site.

CWS will configure and enable any of the modules which you need, either at development time or a later date if you wish to not implement modules right away. All modules would total $295 per month if purchased separately.
PhatCart^
Does not include gateway and merchant fees, see www.eway.com.au for information on gateway and merchant fees, payable to the gateway provider. You may opt to use encrypted offline processing if you have an existing merchant facility. Does not include SSL certificates, these are $260 per annum payable up front to Custom Web Solutions.

Standard “up front” PhatCMS Pricing
Payment Plan
An up front payment of 3 months is required, then you will be billed monthly according to the options you have chosen. At the end of the 24 months you have the option to take up the hosting plan applicable to your needs, move your site to another provider or we can provide you with a contract renewal and an overhaul on your site design.
The minimum price for the basic package in total over the 24 months contract period is $3360. Maximum price is $5520 for the All Modules Discount package. SSL Cetificates or hosting requirements above our CWS Business Hosting Package are charged at our
standard pricing.
Terms and conditions
This contract is for a monthly agreed value according to the pricing table in the Pricing Table shown above over a 24 month period. An up front payment of 3 months value is required to deliver the customers site. After three months the agreed monthly value will be billed monthly on 7 day invoice terms.
The contract entitles the customer to a fully functional web site based on the PhatCMS software with a customised version of an existing PhatCMS layout and design. Custom Web Solutions will design, build and deploy your site with the standard options and modules you choose.
Licensing
The software and website design remains the property of Custom Web Solutions for the contract period. This includes the layout, colours and styling of the site. This does not include imagery or designs sourced from third party providers, or logos and imagery belonging to the customer.
The customer is granted a limited license to use the PhatCMS Software to run their web site. The customer retains copyright and ownership of all their own content and imagery (including logos and designs not created by Custom Web Solutions) permanently.
At the end of your contract term, a full license (see simple license agreement below) for the software is granted and the site is yours. At this point you may choose to take up the relevant hosting plan (see hosting plans below) with Custom Web Solutions.
You may also move your site to another hosting provider if you wish. If technical assistance is required beyond providing access to the site software and content database this is billed at our standard hourly rate, currently $99 per hour including GST.

Maintenance Plans
If the customer takes a maintenance plan Custom Web Solutions will provide the latest updates to the base system and any additional modules the customer has chosen. Custom Web Solutions will prioritise any feature or enhancement requests received by customers on maintenance plans. Custom Web Solutions will fix bugs that occur as they are reported either by customers or by the inbuilt error reporting system.
Cancellation Policy
Should the customer wish to cancel their contract at any time for any reason during the contract period, the following conditions apply:
- The customer must provide one months notice of cancellation and agrees to pay any outstanding monthly fees up to and including the last month of service upon notice of the cancellation
- The site and administration areas will remain accessible to the customer so they may back up or transition their content, for one month from the notice of cancellation
- The customer retains copyright over their content and may copy this content from the site. Custom Web Solutions will provide a backup copy of content at additional cost, dependent on the number of content items
Hosting
The customer is also bound to our hosting Terms and Conditions, and Acceptable Use Policy found on our website. The Base CMS component of the offer includes our CWS Business Hosting Package. If the needs of the customer are not covered by the Business Hosting Package the customer will be informed. The next billable month, an upgrade to the relevant plan is required. The cost difference between the Business Package + SQL and the required package will be added to your monthly bill.
Additional Plugins and Functionality
Any additional plugins or functionality added to sites is either added to the monthly price or billed as custom work. Custom work is billed at $99 per hour including GST. Additional plugins, or changes to the price of a plugin due to extra functionlity are listed on this page and the customers monthly bill will be adjusted accordingly.
